CHIS KIDS DANCE
Join Tower Hamlets’ own Chisenhale Dance for a nature-themed creative dance workshop. Together with two specialised teachers from Chis Kids, the children will explore the wonderful world of minibeasts and discover how they help us by pollinating plants. They’ll follow wiggly pathways like busy bees, make up their very own ‘waggle dance’, and even try sticking themselves together with honey from the hive. The short workshop will be energetic, entertaining and educational, getting bodies and minds moving and creating.

TRAPPED IN ZONE ONE
Trapped in Zone One will host schools’ creative workshops at LIDO In The Neighbourhood Festival, creating a mural on paper rolls, inspired by Summer at Victoria Park using acrylic paint and pens.
Trapped in Zone One is a London based community focused creative organisation, with a passion for the arts and culture. Their aim is to engage with young people and the wider community, building relationships to improve the health and wellbeing of diverse communities through creative practices, working alongside young people in schools, hosting workshops, curating public murals, via a diverse range of partnerships with local and national organisations.

WEST HAM FC FOUNDATION
As West Ham United's official charity, the West Ham United Foundation works across East London, Essex and beyond to promote health and wellbeing through community participation in sports, tackle exclusion and poverty and advance the education of children and young people.
West Ham FC Foundation will host football sessions at Lido Festival for all ages and abilities.

WAPPING KIDDS HOCKEY
Want to try a fun, inclusive team sport? Enjoyed it in the Olympics and always wanted to give it a try? Come and try one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. We'll show you the basics, teach you some fun and challenging new skills and finish with some games to test your new abilities. Equipment all provided.

SUNNY JAR ECOHUB
Plastic Free Fun!
Make Your Own Ocean Creatures. Celebrate World Ocean Day with a fun, hands-on workshop! The children will learn how to make their own all-natural, plastic-free playdough using simple kitchen ingredients. Then, they’ll use it to sculpt sea creatures using other natural bits to decorate them.
Through creative play, children will also explore how plastic pollution affects marine life and how choosing compostable and plastic-free alternatives can help protect our seas. A playful, sensory learning experience to inspire young eco-warriors!

ADORE DANCE
Join East London's local dance school, Adore Dance London, for a fun & welcoming dance lesson for KS1 pupils. Delivered by qualified dance teachers, the session aims to get young people moving and enjoying dance, whether it's the first steps or building on existing training.

LORDS COMMUNITY CRICKET
Lords community cricket coaches will be delivering cricket sessions for all ages and abilities. Our sessions are led by ECB qualified coaches who work on batting, bowling, and fielding in a creative way which allows children of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game of cricket. We focus on maximum engagement allowing every child equal opportunity to practice and develop their skills.

LIMEHOUSE BOXING ACADEMY
Limehouse Boxing Academy is a community-led boxing club based in Tower Hamlets, dedicated to empowering young people through sport. We provide structured boxing training and mentorship in a safe, inclusive environment. Our aim is to promote physical health, mental well-being, and positive life choices through engagement in boxing. At the Lido Festival, we will be leading fun, non-contact boxing activities for school children, giving them a chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and get active in a supportive setting.

THE WELLBEING DESIGNER
Creation of Super hero whiteboard!
Kids will make a loved one feel special by creating an innovative whiteboard to remind them why they are special.
During this unique creative session, kids will learn how to create a whiteboard guided by Jules from The Wellbeing Designer.
Children will be encouraged to write love messages for a loved one. This whiteboard will be free-standing and will have the kids’ unique touch showing appreciation for their loved one. The session will begin with a moment of mindfulness through visualisation, followed by paper cutting, glueing and using fabric and other materials to make their design stand out.
The final intention: Write a love message every week or month to remind that loved one why they are special.

LONDON MUSEUM
London Museum is teaming up with LIDO Festival in the Neighbourhood to bring exciting craft-based workshops to Victoria Park. The sessions will invite Key Stage 2 groups to get creative while exploring themes of local wildlife, the park’s rich history, and sustainability. Pupils will take part in hands-on activities designed to spark their curiosity and help them discover the stories and species that shape this much-loved green space. A fun, practical way to get young learners thinking in new ways about their local environment.

LONDON YOUTH CHOIRS
Come and sing with London Youth Choirs!
Children will learn some excellent songs and explore vocal techniques led by LYC's singing experts in really fun and friendly workshops. All levels of experience can take part, including complete beginners and there may be some handy tips for teachers too. LYC hopes to ignite a lifelong love of music!

YOUNG V&A
Build a Playful city with Young V&A!
Did you know that Play is a superpower? When we play, it helps us explore ideas, imagine possibilities and develop skills and strengths.
Join Young V&A’s Play Champions at the LIDO festival to imagine new places to play in our city, using creative materials from the museum.
Children will: collaborate with others in large scale construction play; problem-solve and learn about structures and shapes as they play; feel confident in their capacity to transform space and test ideas and share ideas through play with materials.
